Who We Are & What We Do

Assisting Incarcerated Men, Inc. (AIM) is a North Carolina nonprofit helping men prepare for life after incarceration through practical resources, supportive relationships, and connections to community services. Our current correctional outreach is beginning at Wake Correctional Center through approved volunteer activities, initially serving Muslim men. AIM’s broader reentry mission is to support men regardless of faith. We are also developing education and reentry-preparation efforts and exploring a small transitional-housing initiative in Durham; these are not yet services we offer.
